JOB DESCRIPTION:

This is a per diem/1099 Clinical Specialist/Clinical Educator role. The Clinical Specialist will promote and support clinical education of the company’s medical device to current and potential customers. You will educate and implement the medical device at customers’ sites, performing evaluation of the radiation reduction device in the cath lab or interventional radiology (IR) settings.

*Must be able to travel for 3 day assignments throughout the US

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform product field training and in-services for customer clinicians.
  • Partner with sales team to present sales demonstrations
  • Maintain successful execution of evaluation trials and implementations
  • Ensure customer needs are met and/or exceeded

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or 2+ relevant years of cath lab or IR tech experience
  • Strong clinical and industry background with an in-depth understanding of the cath lab or interventional radiology
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
  • Ability to mobilize, lift and assemble device components
  • Teaching and technical device training education experience
  • Ability to positively represent company and build strong relationships
  • Team orientation with effective leadership abilities
  • Energetic with a willingness to work long hours and extensive travel
  • Time management skills with an ability to maintain numerous priorities and meet established deadlines
  • Self-motivation, taking on additional responsibilities without being asked and managing priorities with minimal supervision

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Clinical Support Specialist will provide product support in the field during surgery, for in-servicing and follow-up for trial support and existing customers adopting new technology. Clinical Specialist will provide coverage of surgical procedures, supporting the minimally invasive surgery medical devices used for stone management and in the surgical environment. You will support clinical procedures, help growing the business, understand the clinical environment and adhere to compliance and regulations.

*Must be able to travel, up to 75% of the time – extensive regional travel including but not limited to mid US to West Coast. Assignments can be multiple days at a time.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • On-site surgical case coverage as product expert
  • Identify stakeholders and align with the client’s branded products with the objectives of the facility
  • Provide feedback to client leadership team on performance of products from customers through observation of procedures
  • Provide training and in-servicing to hospital staff on the surgical care team to ensure proper use of the client’s products
  • Knowledge of the procedures that the client products are focused to improve
  • Understand client’s product positioning relative to competitive products
  • Ability to recognize stages in surgical procedures that are supported with the client’s products
  • Provide customer feedback for product improvement opportunities
  • Adhere to all required FDA regulations reporting adverse events

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree in life sciences or healthcare related field preferred
  • Comfortable within the operating room, 2 years experience in medical device industry in surgical case coverage
  • Experience in the following but not limited to: hysterectomy, gyn/surg procedures, colo-rectal and laparoscopic
  • 3 years in a business to business or medical sales environment
  • Problem solving in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to travel, up to 75%
